Amazing team of coaches who provide a very conducive atmosphere to learn. Their patience, flexibility and understanding (just to mention a few) makes Forward Fitness feel like home. The exclusive one on one classes and daily classes are just the bomb with a lot of flexibility. I have learnt a lot from the coaches led by my one on one Coach Jen and the whole crew but just to mention a few Coach Gunnar, Coach Malcom, Coach Luke. Thank you Forward Fitness! ‘Home away from Home’

In 2013, he left corporate fitness to start Forward Fitness (formerly known as The Lab) with the goal to create a space where everybody can get help- the days of having to figure every workout routine out on your own are over. He specializes in kettlebell workouts and mobility improvements. Luke holds numerous fitness certifications, including NASM PES and CES, StrongFirst SFG I and StrongFirst SFL.
Luke loves movies and is the Father of 3: 12 year old twins and a six year old. During his workouts he can be found listening to 90s hip-hop.
Over her 14 years of playing and coaching roller derby, Jen developed a love for helping women grow in strength, power, determination, and confidence. She harnessed that passion to include earning an A.A.S. degree as a Health and Fitness Technician, as well as a StrongFirst Girya Level 1 Certification. She specializes in corrective exercise with a focus on prehab/rehab exercises, pregnancy/postpartum, and sports performance.
When not at the gym or on her skates, Jen can be found making elaborate costumes, reading Japanese and Korean comics, soaking up the sun reading a book, or wrangling her rambunctious children.
